Acquiring wealth and gaining money is part of each person’s pursuit in life, regardless of the aspired goals and objectives- and this is not due to pure love of money or a common instinct of greed in people- but largely as a means of availing the tools as well as the kind of life needed for people to achieve and get fulfilled.
Yet this shouldn’t be an obstacle hindering people’s optimum pursuit towards success nor an end in itself- but rather a means needed to avail the tools to success.
Similarly this shouldn’t stop people from giving out of fear of poverty.
Actually giving is a good investment for this life and the other.

Abu Hurayrah reported that the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said,
“There is no day which dawns on the slaves of Allah without two angels descending and one of them saying, ‘O Allah, refund those who give money’ and the other saying, ‘O Allah, ruin those who withhold it.'”
– [Agreed upon]
Riyadus Saliheen by Imam Abu Zakaria Mohiuddin Yahya An-Nawawi (may Allah be pleased with him): Translation by Ustadha Aisha Bewley
So your wealth does not decrease when you give, but rather grows.
Allah Almighty says:
“Never will you attain the good [reward] until you spend [in the way of Allah ] from that which you love. And whatever you spend – indeed, Allah is Knowing of it.”
– – Quran (3:92)
Allah Almighty also says:
“O you who believe! Give away some of the good things you have earned and some of what We produce for you from the earth. Do not have recourse to bad things when you give, things you would only take with your eyes shut tight.”
– – Quran (2:267)
Give and give generously, as much as your capacity can take, and know that this is the best investment you can have, maximizing your wealth, in this life and the hereafter.
