A Cry Of Gratitude

If every breath I took was to thank You,

I would want to live eternally, my Lord.

If each of my heart’s beats could say one thing and nothing else,

It would be I love You Allah.

If I yell and tell the whole world how much You’ve given me,

I can never do You justice, my Provider.

If with every bone in me I scream how much I love You,

It’ll never be enough, my purest Beloved.

If I cry the world’s oceans and seas with every drop of gratitude,

The tears will overflow and never dry.

If every breath I took was to thank You,

I would want to live eternally, my Lord.

If each of my heart’s beats could say one thing and nothing else,

It would be I love You Allah.

If I indulge in the sweetest remembrance and long the sweetest longing,

It would be for You, my Light.

If I sat down to contemplate Your countless blessings,

I would probably break from Your majesty and mercy.

That’s what happens,

So I start to think about only one blessing.

And even that makes my heart tear apart,

And cry with gratitude.

اللهم لك الحمد حتي ترضي و لك الحمد اذا رضيت و لك الحمد بعد الرضا

All praises are due to You and only You, Allah
