Muslims should enact among themselves the culture of pro-activeness if they wish to succeed. And for every individual, the opposite of pro-activeness that’s dependability is a true detriment of his pursue of success.
Abu Sa’id al-Khudri said, “I heard the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, say, ‘Whoever of you sees something wrong should change it with his hand; if he cannot, then with his tongue; if he cannot, then with his heart, and that is the weakest form of belief.'” [related by Imam Muslim]
Islam encourages pro-activeness as an attitude- to be adopted and practiced in the matter that’s most important to humanity, following the path of Allah.
Seeing any of God’s limits being violated or transgressed, a Muslim is obliged to be pro-active and try and change that, primarily through physical action, if not then through word of mouth, ending with rejecting it in the heart as a last resort.
So Muslims should enact among themselves the culture of pro-activeness if they wish to succeed. And for every individual, the opposite of pro-activeness that’s dependability and laziness is a true detriment of his pursue of success.
So be wise and know that unless you drive your boat of success and move in your journey with determination and eagerness- ensure things are done the way they should, and try and fix any shortcoming- nobody else will, even those aiding you.
If you’re not proactive in your pursuit, nobody else will.
